These Terms govern your use of the Services provided by Jinu ("Jinu", "we", "us", or "our"). Throughout these Terms, "you" and "User" refer to the individual accessing or using the Services and, where applicable, the parent or legal guardian accepting these Terms on behalf of a minor as described in the Eligibility section.
By accessing or using the Services in any manner, you agree to be bound by these Terms, whether or not you have registered an account. If you use the Services on behalf of a business, organization, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and "you" refers to that entity.
Please note the arbitration and class-action provisions. As described in the section titled Dispute Resolution, Binding Arbitration, and Class-Action Waiver, you and Jinu agree, to the maximum extent permitted by law, to resolve most disputes through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, and you waive the right to participate in a class action. You may opt out of arbitration within thirty (30) days as described in that section.
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Services, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
Buyer-to-seller messaging takes place inside the Jinu inbox. Neither party's email address is exposed to the other until both choose to share it. We store messages only to preserve the conversation between participants. We do not read your messages, share them with other users beyond the intended recipient, or use them to train artificial intelligence models, except as necessary to operate, secure, and moderate the Services or as required by law.
Jinu is designed to permit responsible participation by teenagers in lower-risk local commerce while protecting minors from higher-risk transactions. The following eligibility rules apply and are a condition of your access to and use of the Services.
Minimum age
You must be at least sixteen (16) years old to access or use the Services. No person under the age of 16 may access or use Jinu for any purpose. If we learn that a person under 16 has created an account or otherwise used the Services, we will terminate that access and delete associated information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
General access for users 16 and older
General access is available to Users who are 16 years of age or older. General access includes browsing listings, messaging other Users, creating listings, and buying or selling ordinary, lower-risk local goods.
Users who are 16 or 17 (minors under 18)
A User who is 16 or 17 years old (a minor under 18) may use the Services only with the involvement, permission, and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. In such cases, the parent or legal guardian: (a) accepts these Terms on the minor's behalf; (b) agrees to supervise the minor's use of the Services; and (c) is responsible and liable for all of the minor's activity on the platform, including any listings, messages, transactions, and conduct. If you are a parent or legal guardian permitting a minor to use the Services, you accept these Terms both for yourself and on behalf of the minor.
Features and categories restricted to Users 18 and older
The following higher-risk categories and features are restricted to Users who are 18 years of age or older, and may not be accessed or used by any User under 18:
Jinu may verify or require attestation of your age before granting access to any restricted category or feature. By accessing a restricted category or feature, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
Capacity and standing
You represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, that you are not barred from using the Services under the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction, and that you have not been previously suspended or removed from the Services. If you are posting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
Jinu operates an online classifieds marketplace that connects Users who wish to offer goods, services, jobs, housing, or other listings with Users who are interested in them. Jinu provides the venue and tools; the Users conduct the transactions.
Jinu is not a party to any transaction between Users. We do not buy, sell, or broker any item; we do not take title to, inspect, or take possession of any item; and we do not guarantee the existence, quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any listing or the ability of a seller to sell or a buyer to buy. Every transaction is directly between the buyer and the seller.
Jinu does not process payments between Users, and there is no escrow. We do not hold funds on behalf of buyers or sellers, and we do not provide a peer-to-peer payment rail inside the Services. The only payments Jinu processes are publishing fees for certain listings, as described in the section titled Fees, Payments, and Refunds. Jinu never charges a commission on the underlying transaction: the take rate on any deal between Users is always zero percent.
For local transactions, Jinu recommends that Users complete their deals in person and, where practical, settle in cash. Any decision to ship an item, send money, or transact off-platform is made by the Users at their own risk. Jinu does not verify the identity of Users except through the optional verification features described in these Terms, and a verified badge reflects only that a seller completed phone-based identity verification, not any endorsement of the seller or the seller's listings.
Browsing the Services does not require an account. However, both posting a listing and messaging another User require a free account. This account requirement is an anti-spam and anti-abuse measure.
Jinu uses passwordless and third-party sign-in. You may create and access an account using: (a) a magic link sent to your email address, with a six-digit one-time passcode as a fallback; (b) Google; (c) Apple; or (d) X (formerly Twitter). By signing in through a third-party provider, you authorize Jinu to access certain information from that provider consistent with our Privacy Policy and the provider's terms.
You agree to provide accurate and current information in connection with your account and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including access to the email account or third-party account used to sign in, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly at legal@jinu.app of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Jinu is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account.
You agree to maintain only one account unless we expressly permit otherwise, and not to create an account using automated means or under false pretenses. You may not transfer or assign your account to another person.
When you post a listing, you are responsible for its content and for ensuring that it is truthful, accurate, and complete. A listing must offer an actual product, service, job, or other permitted item. Posts that do not offer anything (including news, commentary, humor, or empty posts) are not permitted and may be removed.
You agree to the following listing rules:
As between the buyer and the seller, the terms of any transaction, including price, condition, payment, delivery, warranties, and returns, are set by the Users themselves. Jinu is not responsible for the performance or non-performance of any User and provides no guarantee that a transaction will be completed.
Publishing fees
Browsing, messaging, and creating an account are free. Certain listings require a one-time publishing fee, which depends on the listing category and, for goods and vehicles, on the seller type. The current publishing fees are set out below. A publishing fee is a fee to publish a listing; it is never a commission on any transaction, and Jinu takes zero percent of any deal between Users.
| Listing category | Publishing fee |
|---|---|
| Jobs and employment | $20.00 |
| Services and trades | $5.00 |
| Real estate for rent | $3.00 |
| Real estate for sale | $3.00 |
| Goods sold by a dealer or business | $3.00 |
| Motor vehicles sold by a dealer or business | $3.00 |
| Goods sold by a private owner | Free |
| Motor vehicles sold by a private owner | Free |
| Free-stuff (items offered at no cost) | Free |
For goods and motor vehicles, the seller type determines whether a fee applies: a private owner may list for free, while a dealer or business (each treated as a commercial seller) pays the fee shown above. Fees for jobs, services, and real estate are flat and do not depend on seller type. Jinu may change its fees prospectively as described in the section titled Changes to these Terms. There are no subscriptions associated with the fees described here.
Listing duration
Once published, a listing remains live for thirty (30) days, after which it expires. Payment of a publishing fee entitles you to a single listing for that period and does not renew automatically.
Payment processing
On the web, publishing fees are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, through a card checkout. Only card payments are accepted in web checkout. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy. A paid listing is created in a pending state and is published only after Stripe confirms a successful payment. If the listing was flagged by our automated screening, it is held for human review after payment rather than published immediately, as described in the section titled Moderation, Suspension, and Termination.
For purchases made through our iOS or Android applications, publishing fees may be processed as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play, as described in the section titled Mobile Applications and App-Store Terms.
Refunds
Except as expressly stated in these Terms or as required by applicable law, all publishing fees are final and non-refundable. In particular, publishing fees are non-refundable where a listing is removed, held for review, rejected, expired, or made unavailable because of a violation of these Terms, our guidelines, or applicable law, or where a listing did not result in a completed transaction. If you believe you were charged in error, you may contact us at legal@jinu.app, and Jinu may, in its sole discretion, issue a refund or credit. For in-app purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled by Apple or Google under the applicable store's policies, not by Jinu.
Taxes
You are solely responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and remitting any taxes applicable to your transactions and to any income you earn through the Services. Publishing fees may be subject to applicable sales, use, or similar taxes, which may be added at checkout. Jinu is not responsible for your tax obligations arising from your use of the Services.
Jinu may offer optional verification features. A verified badge on a listing indicates only that the seller completed phone-based identity verification and does not indicate that Jinu has otherwise vetted, endorsed, or guaranteed the seller, the seller's listings, or any transaction. Verification features are provided on an as-is basis, and you should not rely on the presence or absence of a badge as a substitute for your own judgment and diligence.
Reviews and ratings on the Services are earned only from a confirmed deal between a buyer and a seller. Reviews are mutual and double-blind, and limited to one review per deal, in order to preserve their integrity. You agree that your reviews will be honest, based on your actual experience, and free of unlawful, defamatory, or abusive content.
By using the Services, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including by email, through the Services, and, where you have provided a mobile number or enabled notifications, by push notification or text message. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
Under the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN) and comparable state laws, you consent to conduct business with us electronically and to the use of electronic records and signatures. You may withdraw this consent by ceasing to use the Services and closing your account, though doing so may prevent you from using the Services. Message and data rates may apply to any text messages, and you may opt out of non-essential messages as described in those messages or in our Privacy Policy. We may still send you transactional or security-related communications.
You agree not to do any of the following in connection with the Services:
You may not post, offer, solicit, or transact in any item or content that is illegal, dangerous, or otherwise prohibited. Jinu enforces the categories below, which are modeled on leading marketplace commerce policies. Jinu's automated systems screen listings at the time of publication, but that screening is imperfect, and the inclusion or omission of an item from the lists below does not relieve you of your responsibility to comply with all applicable laws. The following categories are prohibited:
The following categories are restricted. Because Jinu does not currently approve any sellers in these categories, listings in them are held for human review and may be removed: event tickets; gift cards and vouchers; and pet-adoption matching services. Whole vehicles and ordinary pet supplies are permitted, subject to the applicable age restrictions in the Eligibility section.
Housing and real-estate listings are additionally screened for compliance with the federal Fair Housing Act, including 42 U.S.C. 3604(c), which prohibits statements indicating a preference, limitation, or discrimination based on race or color, religion, national origin, familial status, sex, gender, or sexual orientation, disability, or, where applicable, source of income. Listings that appear to violate these requirements are held for human review rather than published. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your housing listings comply with all fair-housing and anti-discrimination laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Jinu grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use, and, where you are a permitted commercial seller, to use the Services to publish listings in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include any right to resell or make commercial use of the Services or their contents, to use any data mining, robots, or similar collection tools, or to frame or mirror any part of the Services without our prior written permission.
The Services, including their design, software, code, text, graphics, and other content provided by Jinu, and all intellectual property rights in them, are owned by Jinu or its licensors and are protected by United States and international intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license expressly granted in these Terms, no right, title, or interest in the Services is transferred to you.
"Content" means any listing, photograph, text, message, review, rating, or other material that you submit to or through the Services. As between you and Jinu, you retain ownership of your Content.
You grant Jinu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and otherwise use your Content solely as necessary to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Services. This license ends when you delete the relevant Content or your account, except that: (a) we may retain and use Content that you have shared with others who have not deleted it; (b) we may retain Content in routine backups for a limited period; and (c) we may retain and use Content as required by law or to enforce these Terms, resolve disputes, or maintain safety and security.
You represent and warrant that you own or have all rights necessary to submit your Content and to grant the license above, and that your Content does not infringe or violate the rights of any third party or any applicable law.
If you send us any suggestions, ideas, or other feedback about the Services ("Feedback"), you agree that we may use the Feedback for any purpose, without restriction or compensation to you. You grant Jinu a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate the Feedback into the Services or any other Jinu product or service.
"Jinu", the Jinu logo, and other Jinu names, marks, and designs are trademarks of Jinu. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the Jinu name, marks, logos, or other brand features without our prior written permission. You may not use any Jinu mark in a manner that is likely to cause confusion or that disparages or discredits Jinu.
Jinu respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects Users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
If you believe that content on the Services infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent at legal@jinu.app that includes: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (c) identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail to locate it; (d) your contact information; (e) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (f) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances, to disable or terminate the accounts of Users who are repeat infringers. If your content was removed and you believe the removal was in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address containing the information required by the DMCA.
The Services may contain listings, content, and links provided by Users or other third parties, as well as integrations with third-party services such as our payment processor and sign-in providers. Jinu does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, websites, products, or services, and the inclusion of any third-party material or link does not imply endorsement by Jinu. Your dealings with third parties, including through any linked service, are solely between you and the third party and are subject to that third party's terms, and Jinu is not liable for any loss or damage arising from those dealings.
Jinu uses a combination of automated and human review to enforce these Terms. Automated screening runs when a listing is published and includes a blocked-keyword check that may reject a listing outright, a fair-housing check for property listings, a check for prohibited and restricted commerce categories, a scam-pattern check, and an artificial-intelligence safety classifier. Listings that trigger certain checks are held for human review rather than published, and a listing flagged during a paid checkout is held for review after payment rather than published immediately.
Our automated systems are imperfect and may not detect all prohibited content promptly or at all. You should not rely on Jinu's moderation as a guarantee that any listing, User, or transaction is safe, lawful, or accurate. You remain responsible for exercising your own judgment.
Users may report listings or other Users using the report feature or by contacting us. We review reports and, for urgent safety issues, you may contact us at safety@jinu.app. Jinu reserves the right, at any time and in its sole discretion, with or without prior notice, to remove or restrict any Content, to limit, suspend, or terminate any account or access to the Services, and to take any other action it deems appropriate, including for any violation of these Terms or applicable law or to protect the Services or other Users. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fee, except as expressly provided in these Terms.
You may terminate these Terms at any time by ceasing to use the Services and deleting your account through Settings, in the Danger zone. Account deletion is self-serve and is intended to satisfy applicable erasure rights, including under Article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation and Section 1798.105 of the California Civil Code, as described in our Privacy Policy. Deletion removes your listings, messages, and related data and anonymizes certain records, such as reviews you authored, so that other Users' ratings remain accurate. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including those governing intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, release, and dispute resolution.
Jinu provides a venue only. Jinu is not the agent, broker, employer, employee, partner, or joint venturer of any User, and no such relationship is created by these Terms or by your use of the Services. Jinu is not a party to, and has no responsibility for, any agreement, transaction, or dispute between Users. Any contract for the sale, rental, service, or employment offered through the Services is solely between the Users involved.
You understand and agree that using the Services, communicating with other Users, and completing transactions, including meeting in person to inspect, buy, or sell items, involve inherent risks. You assume all risks associated with your interactions and transactions with other Users, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Jinu does not screen or conduct background checks on Users, does not inspect items, and does not supervise or guarantee any transaction or meeting.
You are responsible for taking reasonable precautions, including meeting in safe, public locations, bringing another person when appropriate, verifying items before paying, and being cautious of requests to transact off-platform, to pay by gift card or wire transfer, or to share verification codes. Jinu does not offer or endorse any escrow, payment-protection, or shipping-protection service, and any third party claiming to provide such a service in connection with a Jinu transaction should be treated with caution.
Because Jinu is only a venue and is not a party to transactions between Users, you agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy you have with one or more Users, whether arising from a transaction, a communication, or otherwise, is solely between you and those Users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release and forever discharge Jinu, and its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any and all claims, demands, damages, and liabilities of every kind, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes or with the acts or omissions of other Users.
If you are a California resident, you expressly waive California Civil Code Section 1542, which provides: "A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release, and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party." You waive any similar protection under the law of any other jurisdiction. This waiver is a material part of these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services, including all Content and listings, are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. Jinu specifically disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.
Jinu does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that any defects will be corrected; that the Services or the servers that make them available are free of viruses or other harmful components; or that any listing, User, item, or transaction is accurate, lawful, safe, authentic, or of any particular quality. Jinu does not verify the identity of Users except as described in these Terms, and it makes no representation or warranty regarding any User or their conduct. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jinu, and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of, or inability to use, the Services, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other legal theory, and whether or not Jinu has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Jinu arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount of fees you paid to Jinu in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred United States dollars ($100). The limitations in this section apply to all claims in the aggregate and form an essential basis of the bargain between you and Jinu. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you; in such jurisdictions, Jinu's liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Jinu, and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Services; (b) your Content or your listings; (c) your transactions or dealings with other Users; (d) your violation of these Terms; or (e) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party. Jinu reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will cooperate with Jinu in asserting any available defenses. Where you are a parent or legal guardian permitting a minor to use the Services, this indemnification also covers the minor's use and Content.
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights, including your right to file a lawsuit in court and to have disputes decided by a judge or jury.
Informal resolution first
Before starting an arbitration, you agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at legal@jinu.app and providing a brief written description of the dispute and the relief you seek. You and Jinu agree to negotiate in good faith for at least thirty (30) days from the date of that notice. If the dispute is not resolved within that period, either party may proceed to arbitration.
Binding individual arbitration
Except as provided below, you and Jinu agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, and not in court. The arbitration will be administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures then in effect. The arbitration will take place in San Francisco, California, or, at your election, by videoconference. The arbitrator will have the authority to grant any remedy that would be available in court, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. This arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
Class-action and class-arbitration waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you and Jinu agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of class or representative proceeding. If this class-action and class-arbitration waiver is found to be unenforceable as to a particular claim, then that claim will be severed and may proceed in court, while all other claims will remain in arbitration.
Thirty-day right to opt out
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within thirty (30) days after you first accept these Terms by sending written notice of your decision to opt out to legal@jinu.app, including your name and the email associated with your account. If you opt out, neither you nor Jinu will be bound by the arbitration and class-waiver provisions of this section, and disputes will be resolved in the courts identified in the section titled Governing Law and Venue. Opting out of arbitration does not affect any other provision of these Terms.
Exceptions
Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court for disputes within that court's jurisdiction, and either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Services are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to the section titled Dispute Resolution, Binding Arbitration, and Class-Action Waiver, and to the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration, you and Jinu agree that the exclusive venue for such dispute will be the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
The Services are operated from the United States and are intended for Users in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and in other countries where Jinu or its service providers operate, which may have data-protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Services, you consent to such transfer and processing, as further described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for compliance with any local laws applicable to your use of the Services.
Jinu may access, preserve, and disclose information about Users and their activity where we believe in good faith that doing so is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request; to enforce these Terms; to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jinu, our Users, or the public. Law-enforcement and governmental requests may be directed to legal@jinu.app and should identify the requesting authority and the applicable legal basis.
Jinu is available as a website and as native iOS and Android applications operating over a shared backend. If you download or use a Jinu application from the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to the applicable store's terms, including the store's standard end-user license agreement, and to any in-app-purchase and refund rules of that store.
The following additional terms apply to the Apple App Store version of the application. These Terms are between you and Jinu only, and not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the application or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the application. In the event of any failure of the application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the application. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the application, including product-liability, legal-compliance, or intellectual-property claims. You acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Where you obtain the application from Google Play, you acknowledge that Google is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms to the extent applicable to the Google Play version, and that in-app purchases through Google Play are governed by Google's terms and refund policies. For applications obtained from an app store, any refund of an in-app purchase is handled by the applicable store, Apple or Google, and not by Jinu.
Jinu may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide registered account holders with at least fourteen (14) days' notice by email before the changes take effect, and we will update the effective date above. Non-material changes may take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Services and may close your account.
Jinu may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice. Jinu is not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services, except as expressly provided in these Terms.
We may provide notices to you by email to the address associated with your account, by posting within the Services, or by other reasonable means. Notices to Jinu must be sent by email to legal@jinu.app. You consent to receive notices electronically, and you agree that electronic notices satisfy any legal requirement that a notice be in writing.
Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms that apply to specific features or platforms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Jinu regarding the Services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings on that subject.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms, or any of your rights or obligations under them, without our prior written consent, and any attempted assignment in violation of this provision is void. Jinu may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
No waiver
Jinu's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision or of any other, and no waiver is effective unless made in writing by an authorized representative of Jinu.
Force majeure
Jinu is not liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, labor disputes, failures of telecommunications or infrastructure, and acts of government.
Headings
Section titles and headings are provided for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
Some features of the Services, and some jurisdictions in which Users reside, may be subject to additional or different terms. Where Jinu provides supplemental terms for a feature, those supplemental terms are incorporated into these Terms for that feature and control in the event of a conflict with respect to that feature. Where applicable law in your jurisdiction grants you rights that cannot be waived or limited by contract, nothing in these Terms limits those rights, and the provisions of these Terms apply to you only to the extent permitted by that law.
Jinu operates the Services. For legal notices, questions about these Terms, arbitration opt-out, or other legal matters, contact us at legal@jinu.app. For urgent safety concerns, contact safety@jinu.app. For privacy requests and account-related assistance, contact privacy@jinu.app.
