These Guidelines apply to all use of the Jinu website and mobile applications, including listings, messages, offers, reviews, profiles, and any other content or activity on the Jinu Service. By using the Jinu Service, you agree to follow these Guidelines and the Terms of Service. Jinu is not a party to transactions between users; these Guidelines set the standards of conduct that make the marketplace safe and trustworthy, but they do not make Jinu responsible for the acts of any user.
You must meet the eligibility requirements in the Terms of Service to use the Jinu Service. The minimum age is sixteen. A user who is sixteen or seventeen may use the Jinu Service only with the involvement, permission, and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for that minor's activity. Certain higher-risk categories and features, including motor vehicles, housing, jobs, paid services, payments, shipping, financial transactions, and contracts, are restricted to users eighteen and older.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Maintain accurate account information, keep your sign-in method secure, and do not share, sell, or transfer your account. Do not create multiple accounts to evade enforcement or to manipulate reviews, offers, or rankings.
Describe items and services truthfully. Use your own photographs of the actual item, state the condition accurately, and set a clear and correct price. Do not use stock or borrowed images that misrepresent what you are offering, and do not copy photographs or descriptions from other listings or websites.
The following conduct is not permitted on the Jinu Service and may result in immediate removal of content and suspension or termination of your account:
You may not list, offer, or solicit any item or service that is illegal or that is prohibited by these Guidelines or the Terms of Service. Prohibited and restricted items include, without limitation:
Some categories are permitted only where they comply with applicable law and any additional requirements Jinu imposes. When in doubt, do not post the item, and contact hello@jinu.app.
Because transactions occur between users and off the platform, your safety is your responsibility. Jinu strongly encourages you to take reasonable precautions:
Jinu does not process payments between buyers and sellers, does not provide escrow, and does not verify the identity of users or the quality, safety, or legality of any item. You transact at your own risk.
Keep messages courteous and relevant to the transaction. Do not use the messaging service to send spam, solicitations, harassment, threats, or sexually explicit content, and do not share another person's private or personal information without consent. Messages are relayed through Jinu, and misuse of messaging may result in suspension.
Post only content that you own or have the right to use. Do not infringe the copyrights, trademarks, or other rights of any person, and do not post another person's private information, including contact details, financial information, or identification, without their consent. Jinu responds to valid intellectual-property complaints as described in the Terms of Service.
Reviews on Jinu are tied to confirmed transactions and are intended to reflect genuine experiences. Do not post false, retaliatory, or incentivized reviews, do not attempt to trade or manipulate reviews, and do not use additional accounts to influence your own or another member's rating. Review content is subject to these Guidelines and may be removed if it violates them.
If you see a listing, message, or user that violates these Guidelines, please report it using the reporting tools in the Jinu Service or by contacting hello@jinu.app. You may also block a user to stop messages and offers in both directions.
Jinu may review content and conduct using a combination of automated systems and human review. These systems are not perfect, and Jinu does not guarantee that all violating content will be detected or removed promptly. Jinu may, at its discretion and consistent with the Terms of Service, remove content, apply warnings, limit features, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Guidelines or that Jinu believes are harmful to other users or to the Jinu Service, and may do so without prior notice. Jinu may also refer conduct to law enforcement where appropriate.
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the date at the top of this page, and your continued use of the Jinu Service after an update takes effect signifies your acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
Questions about these Guidelines, or reports of violations, may be directed to hello@jinu.app. These Guidelines should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
