New to Jinu? A quick start guide
The whole app in about two minutes: how to browse, like, and search; message and make an offer; post your first item for free; and stay safe while you buy and sell locally.
Welcome to Jinu. It is a local marketplace: buy and sell almost anything with people near you, from furniture and phones to cars, rentals, and jobs. Browsing is completely free and needs no account, and posting takes about a minute. If you have five minutes, this walks you through the whole app end to end, so you know exactly where everything is and how it fits together.
Find things
1. Browse and search what is near you
Open the app and you land straight in a feed of what is listed near you, no account, no sign-up wall. Search for something specific, or tap a category to explore. Set your location and a distance, and the feed reshapes to your area, so everything you see is close enough to actually go get.
Keep track
2. Like listings and save searches
When something catches your eye but you are not ready to reach out, like it and come back. Jinu gives you two ways to keep track so nothing slips away.
Like an item
Tap the heart on any listing to like it. Your liked items are one tap away when you are ready to compare or message.Save a search
Looking for something that is not listed yet? Save the search, and Jinu tells you the moment a match is posted, so you are first in line instead of last.
Connect
3. Message and make an offer
Found the one? Message the seller through your private inbox. Your phone number and email stay yours; the whole conversation lives in the app. Ask about condition and pickup, and if the listing allows offers, send a fair one right from the page.
A little effort gets a fast reply. A specific, friendly message (“Is this still available, and could I pick up this evening?”) gets answered first. Sellers reply to buyers who make it easy to say yes.
Sell
4. Post your first thing
Selling is free and takes about a minute. Tap Post, add a few clear photos, and let Quick Post AI write the title, description, and a starting price for you, or fill it in yourself. Set how buyers get it, keep your location approximate, and publish. That is the whole job.
Trust
5. Stay safe and build trust
Jinu is built to be a place you can trust, and a few simple habits keep it that way. Meet in a busy public place in daylight, keep the conversation in the app, and trust your gut if something feels off. Every profile has one-tap block and report, and every listing is checked for scams before it goes live.
Reviews open doors. After a good deal, leave a review. A little reputation gets your messages answered faster and your offers taken more seriously the next time around.
Your hub
6. Make it yours from your account
Your account tab is the home base for everything you are doing on Jinu: your listings and drafts, your offers, your liked items and saved searches, the people you follow, and your settings. Set your location, tune which notifications you want, and add a photo so buyers and sellers know who they are dealing with.
